Breitling Superocean Chronograph II
If you’re looking for a chrono and price is not an issue, you have to check out the Breitling Superocean Chronograph II. It is water resistant upto 500 meters (1650 feet).
It is a high performance self winding watch. It has a 42 hour power reserve, which means that it can keep running itself you haven’t worn it, for upto 42 hours.
While it is an expensive acquisition, this is one of those fantastic items you can hold on to and pass on to future generations. It’s built to last and believe me, it does.
The case glass is made of Cambered sapphire, glareproofed on both sides. Acrylic, mineral, and sapphire are the three types of crystals commonly used in watches. Sapphire is the most expensive and also durable crystal, approximately three times harder than mineral crystals and 20 times harder than acrylic crystals.
The ultra-sturdy case is fitted with a screw-locked crown and safety pushpieces that can only be activated once they are unlocked. The bezel is also available in a steel & rose gold version.
The date is displayed at the 3 o’clock position. For the chronograph function, you have three sub-dials displaying: 60 seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours.
This is one watch you’ll never regret buying. It is something you can use and cherish for the rest of your life and then pass on for generations in your family.
